  • USHG sold EMP to the Make it Nice Group (Chef Humm + Will Guidara + other financial backers) effective November 10, 2011.
  • Closed from June to early October 2017 for a major remodeling.
  • In May 2021 Chef Humm announced that when reopening after the Covid-19 pandemic, Eleven Madison Park would be a plant-based restaurant (see NY Times).
  • In October 2022 EMP became the first plant-based restaurant to be awarded three Michelin stars. (Financial Times)
