  • In January 2010 The Mélange Dining Room was transformed into M Bistro. The restaurant was renamed in honor of Chef Murphy who in 2009 was suddenly stricken with a rare toxic illness. He had 19 surgeries and had to be resuscitated three times. After a long, painful road, Murphy pulled through and is back at work. (From WDSU.com January 14, 2010)
