- In April 2012, the company Leggo/4 bought three mortgages held by Brennan’s from First NBC Bank. The property went up for auction on May 23, 2013 and was purchsed by the mortgage holder Leggo/4. (See TheTimes-Picayune). On June 10, 2013 management changed hands when the restaurant’s shareholders ousted Theodore “Ted” Brennan and his daughter, Bridget Brennan Tyrrell, as managers. They were replaced by Owen “Pip” Brennan Jr. and his sons, Blake and Clark, who then operated the restaurant. (Times-Picayune). On June 27, 2013 Leggo/4 evicted Pip et al and replaced them with Leggo/4 partners Ralph Brennan and Terry White. Leggo/4 replaced as managers by 417 Royal (Ralph principal owner). Brennan's closed June 28, 2013. (See Times-Picayune). After a year of renovations Brennan's re-opened November 25, 2014.
