And Now You Know

  • The idea for Staplehouse came from Chef Ryan Hidinger (Hidi) and his wife Jennifer. From 2009 to 2012 they held a series of underground suppers (Prelude to Staplehouse) in their home. In December 2012 Hidi was diagnosed with gallbladder cancer and he died early in January 2014. (See AJC.com).
