And Now You Know
The Savarin was opened in 1928 by Traymore Limited.
The Savarin was named after Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin, a French lawyer and politician who authored
The Physiology of Taste
(Physiologie du Goût).
Brillat-Savarin was famous for the phrase "Tell me what you eat, and I will tell you what you are."
