Bootsy Collins was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 as a member of the funk music collective Parliament-Funkadelic. Bootsy is a funk base guitar player, singer, and songwriter and has played with many groups and artists including James Brown in the early 1970s.
