I began cooking for at the age of 12 in Arkansas. I started my professional cooking career at the age of 21, at a national casual restaruant chain, then moved to the Sheraton Hotel in Birmingham in 2000. I began working at the Sheraton Overland Park Hotel in 2003 as the lead banquet cook, lead restaurant cook, then to Chef de Cuisine.

I have a beautiful wife, Rita, who also works at the hotel as the Director of Corporate Sales.
