From Sonoma California, Chef Richard A. Bailey is determined to challenge the way his guests enjoy and savor food. Known for his clever use of ingredients, his versatility becomes evident in every precise detail from his preparation to presentation.

First introduced to the kitchen in Sonoma California at the Sonoma Mission Inn. Later accepting a position in Napa at the Robert Mondovi Winery. This is where Richard Bailey discovered his true passion for food and wine and at earned his first Sous Chef credit at the age of 23. However, his most memorable experience was traveling to Germany for a position offered to him by Executive Chef Charles Saunders at the elegant Steigenberger Maximilian Hotel in Bad Griesbach where he served as California Specialist, opening and managing a California-style restaurant.
