Born & raised in a European deli on busy Queen St. West in Toronto, Tom Kral was immersed with food production on a small scale. He was fortunate to have met Susur Lee through the family business, where he introduced Tom into the world of fine dining. He went to apprentice under John Higgins at King Edward hotel. After receiving his Red Seal he continued to work at prestigious restaurants around the city eventually going back to his roots and taking over the family business, giving it a facelift for modern times. After running the Prague restaurant for seven years it was time for a change. Through a experience of a personal transformation, he’s discovered new energies and a cooking philosophy. His passion for putting medicine back into our food quickly grew into a whole new genre of dining experience which he delivers onto others in supernatural BC.
