I began professionally cooking at 15 while still in high school in the Washington D.C. area where I was exposed to many cultures and their cuisines early in life. I was formally trained in a classical French kitchen.
While in college I focused on cultural anthropology and later became interested in how it effects the cuisine around the world.
My work has taken me all over the country, The Washington D.C. Metro area, Virginia Hunt Country, Seacoast of New England, New Orleans and the San Francisco Bay area. My interested in cuisine and culture has drawn me to India, Oaxaca, Canada, Spain, Germany, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Italy, Austria, Singapore and Belgium.
I have earned 3 Stars from the SF Chronical, a 26 rating in Zagat and a 16 Gault Millau. |
