  • The house was built in 1883 by Edward Peters and is the only remaining Queen Anne house in Atlanta. The area is the site of a proposed condominium development and as part of the negotiations the house was purchased by the Providence Group in 2007 and turned over to the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) who will use it for academic purposes.
  • The Mansion was closed to the public during the 1996 Olympics as it was used as the hospitality venue for the sponsors of the German Olympic team.
