  • From The Canadian Business Journal, August 2020: "Built by James Stanley McLean, President and founder of Canada Packers, in 1928, McLean House, originally known as Bay View, remains as one of Ontario’s most splendid Georgian-style mansions. In 1966, the University of Toronto took over the property, and it was converted into a clinical facility by Sunnybrook Hospital. In 1982, McLean House was renovated, revitalized and opened by Sunnybrook Hospital as a venue for social and corporate events."
