- The floating restaurant broke loose from some of its moorings on March 12, 2011, and closed as a restaurant. After 2 years of negotiations it has been agreed to move the restaurant upstream to the foot of Madison Avenue and it was hoped to reopen in 2014.
- On February 6, 2014 the restaurant again broke loose from its moorings.
- On August 5, 2014, the Waterfront sank into the Ohio River marking the end of the "floating restaurant".
