Stephane Landreau aka Chef Chop Chop was born and raised in Vendee, North-West France. He completed four years of culinary training in Vendee with Monsieur Regis Painot a former Chef from La Tour d’Argent in Paris, where he earned several cooking diplomas. His passion for cooking stems from a long-standing family ancestry of farmers and vineyard owners. Specializing in French cuisine, he is well known for his unique approach to cooking, his ability to awaken peoples taste senses and his own inimitable way to create the desire in people to learn to cook again.
He has cooked for Heads of State and Dignitaries such as Paul Bocuse in United States, A French chef considered one of the finest chefs of the 20th century; Gaston Lenotre a master French pastry maker considered to be one of the finest pastry chefs; Roger Verges –Master Chef at three star Moulin de Mougins restaurant in Mougins, France and Parisian Foreign Affairs Minister in Paris. He has invested his culinary talent in France, United States and most recently Canada.
He has participated in charitable events including The Cancer Society, and the Heart& Stroke Foundation, among others. Once a month he gives a Cooking Work Shop as a volunteer chef at" Friend’s For Life."
In 2007, he created his own business holding cooking classes in private houses and as a personal chef.
In 2008, he won second place in the City TV Master Chef Competition and an honorary recognition in the Healthy Chef competition, both in Vancouver. He appeared on Supreme Master Television (world wide), Shaw express television via TVA Television (Montreal French broadcasters) and appeared in several newspapers among them The Province ”This chefs songs are about love... of cooking” British Columbia Chef magazine ”Master Chefs Competition”, Metro newspaper ”Learning Cure Courses are taught by Chef Chop Chop, a culinary genius from France, among others”. He has done multiple press releases on CBC French radio and such as” Quand J 'arrive en Ville” in Vancouver and the community weekly press release on Cybf radio .etc...
In 2009, he competed at the Iron Chef Competition, and helped fundraise at a charity event benefiting the BC Children’s Hospital on Breakfast Television, both in Vancouver. In a cooking program on "Samedi Detente CBC Winnipeg radio" he released his own creation, a sauce recipe for venison.

He loves to travel, as it is a chance for him to discover and learn from other cultures and ethnicities, but also to open his mind, and have a completely different vision of the world. His extensive travel includes: Costa Rica, Mexico, Las Vegas, Orlando, Peru, Miami, New York, Banff, Montréal, and Québec city, but he is proud to call Vancouver, Canada home. Now he is looking to expand into two new services: customized restaurant menus and food columnist. Eager to continue moving toward in award-winning environments and his career Stephane Landreau ' s future plans are to help and support the farmers of BC and the future chefs of tomorrow. He is looking for a film producer for a feature cooking show to aid his cause.
