I began my love for food as a young boy, mostly from necessity. Both my parents worked at busy careers and I found it necessary to cook for myself on many occasions. I began by cooking my way through the Joy of Cooking, then graduated to The Art of French Cooking.
Despite having other career aspirations growing up, I decided to follow my passion for all things culinary and went to Chef's College right after high school. After college I honed my skills for many years in the major hotels of downtown Vancouver before moving on to such venues as Hastings House on Salt Spring Island, the Gerard room at Le Meridien, and several higher end salmon fishing destinations.
I began my carreer in Film Catering in 1999 and have worked in the industry for most of the last 11 years, with a few detours along the way.
I most recently worked for Behind the Scenes Catering providing V.I.P. service at the 2010 Olympics. |
