Dilan Draper was born in Seattle, Washington. He moved to Canada as a young boy with his family where there was no culinary background whatsoever. He developed his niche for cooking in junior high school trying to impress the ladies and all of his friends with weird inexperience and young confidence. He landed his first restaurant job at the age of 15 at Stage West Dinner Theatre. This is where he knew that the culinary scene was where he wanted to spend the rest of his life. With Extensive training at SAIT, then The California Culinary Academy (Le Cordon Bleu) where he recieved his masters of gastronomè certificate. Dilan was awarded the opportunity to study at the original Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France where he also Staged at Guy Savoy. His Resume includes restaurants like Ortolan, Melisse, Guy Savoy, Capo, and Chefs Table. As well, Dilan will be attending a stage at the acclaimed Fat Duck in January 2011.
